What information do I need before registering my business?

To register your business, you will need:

  1. The business name you wish to register

  2. A physical business address in the province you are registering

  3. Credit card or Visa debit for payment

In Alberta and Quebec, you must also present a valid form of identification: driver's license, Canadian passport, Alberta identity card, Quebec insurance card.
