RBC Rebate Offer

When you register or incorporate your business with Ownr, you can take advantage of our special offers:

  • Sole Proprietorships save $49 on the registration fee (sales tax will apply).

  • Corporations save $300 on the incorporation fee (sales tax will apply).

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for these offers, you must:

  1. Register your Sole Proprietorship or incorporate your business with Ownr

  2. Apply and be approved for a new RBC Business Bank Account linked to your registered or incorporated business within 60 days of your purchase

Note: Your Business Bank Account application is reviewed by the Royal Bank of Canada, which will make approval decisions at its sole discretion.

How to Obtain the Offer

There are two ways to obtain this offer:

1. At the time of registration: The $49/$300 rebate is automatically discounted from your registration fee during payment. Should you choose to accept this discount, you will have 60 days to complete your RBC Business Bank Account setup. An appointment confirmation, or next steps regarding your appointment will be sent to you by email.

Once your RBC Business Bank Account is fully set up, log into your Ownr Dashboard and click Confirm Account Open to notify our Team that you have fulfilled your eligibility requirements for the rebate.

2. After registration: If you opted out of the $49/$300 rebate at the time of your registration, you can still obtain the rebate afterwards. You have 60 days from the date of payment to visit your local RBC branch to set up your RBC Business Bank Account and be eligible for the rebate.

Once your RBC Business Bank Account is fully set up, log into your Ownr Dashboard and click Refund Me to start the rebate process. Your account details will be confirmed and the rebate will be deposited to your RBC Business Bank Account within 10 business days.

See this article for further details.

Failure to Complete the RBC Business Bank Account Setup within 60 Days

If you accepted the rebate during payment, you have 60 days to complete the RBC Business Bank Account setup by visiting an RBC Branch. If no account is opened within this period, the rebated amount ($49 or $300) will be charged to the payment card used for your initial transaction.

Should you complete the RBC Business Bank Account setup later, the charge of $49 or $300 will be refunded back to your payment card. In this case, please notify our team at [email protected] once the bank account setup is complete so the refund can be processed.

Make sure you keep track of your deadlines to ensure you can take full advantage of these offers.
