When you register, incorporate, or onboard your business to Ownr, you’ll have the option to open an RBC business bank account for your company.

Corporations that choose this option get $300 deducted from their incorporation fee, as an automatic rebate. Once you finalize the bank account opening, you’ll need to confirm your account number by clicking “confirm account” in your Ownr dashboard. You’ll then be prompted to enter the last 4 digits of your account number.

Sole Proprietorships also have the option of opening an RBC business bank account. If you choose this option you’ll need to claim the rebate once your account opening has been finalized. To do so, click the “refund me” button in your Ownr dashboard. You’ll then be prompted to enter the last 4 digits of your account number. The rebate will be deposited to your RBC business bank account within 10 business days.

Both Corporations and Sole Proprietorships have the option to open the bank account in person at an RBC branch, rather than starting the process within Ownr. If you’ve made this selection, you can claim the rebate once your account opening has been finalized. To do so, click the “refund me” button in your Ownr dashboard. You’ll then be prompted to enter the last 4 digits of your account number. The rebate will be deposited to your RBC business bank account within 10 business days.

Please note, the RBC business bank account must be opened within 60 days of incorporation, registration, or onboarding, as per the terms of the offer. See full details here.
