Completing Your Incorporation in Ownr

If you have paid for incorporation , but not submitted your application, follow these instructions to complete your incorporation.

Once you’ve paid for your incorporation your application is not yet complete. There is more information for you to fill out in Ownr. The information required will depend on whether you’ve opted into the $300 RBC instant rebate.

If You Received the $300 RBC Rebate

If you have opted in to receive the RBC rebate and have received the $300 discount on your incorporation fee, follow the instructions below. If you chose not to receive the rebate, please skip ahead to the section entitled “If You Have Not Received the $300 RBC Rebate.”

If you have not yet clicked Next after submitting payment in the Choose a Plan & Pay section, click Next as shown below.

Click “Next” on the Open RBC Bank Account page.

Then, click Select plan to choose the Digital Banking plan, or click Interested in other plans? to view other plan options.

On the RBC Required Account Information page, fill out the information requested.

In the My current occupation is field, type in a word that describes your occupation and choose an option from the list provided. If you do not find an option that exactly matches your occupation title you can select the closet choice.

Please note, you will have to choose one of the options provided, you will not be able to enter your own text here.

Continue to fill out the rest of the information requested. In the Government ID section provide the details of your government-issued identification.

Then input your Business and personal tax information, check the box next to Yes, I consent, and click Next.

Verify the information on the Bank Account Access page. If you wish for another person in your corporation to have access to the bank account, click + Add Person. Then click Next. Please note that ID verification must be done for all shareholders who own more 25% or more of the company, irrespective of their title or their name present on the bank application.

On the RBC Required Account Details page, enter the information requested. In the My business activity is field, type in a word that describes your business activity and choose an option from the list provided. If you do not find an option that exactly matches your occupation title you can select the closet choice.

Please note, you will have to choose one of the options provided, you will not be able to enter your own text here.

You’ll then select your preferred RBC branch and appointment time to finalize the account opening in person. After making your selections, click Next.

If You Have Not Received the $300 RBC Rebate

If you prefer to meet with an RBC Advisor in person to complete the bank account opening, click Open Account In Branch. You can locate your nearest branch by using the RBC Branch Locator.

Choosing Another Financial Institution

If you plan on banking with another financial institution, make a selection from the drop-down menu. Please note: if you choose to bank elsewhere you’ll miss out on the rebate offer of $300 back for your registration fees.

Completing the Final Steps to Submit Incorporation

Click Start Final Review to review your application.

Verify the information on each page and click Confirm.

On the Sign & Submit page view or download the Articles of Incorporation by clicking the eye or downward arrow, review the document to ensure your personal and business information is accurate. Then check off the boxes to indicate your agreement with the statements. Finally, click Submit to send the application for processing.

You will receive an email notification once your incorporation has been completed.
