Canadian Resident Requirements

What are the Canadian residency requirements to open a business?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Overview

In order to register a Federal Corporation 25% of the directors of your company must be 'resident Canadian'. Provincial incorporations in Ontario, BC and Alberta do not have this requirement. This means that if a Federal corporation only has one director, then that director must be a 'resident Canadian'.
