Corporations can change their head office address directly in Ownr, whereas sole proprietorships need to contact the government directly.
Change the address of a sole proprietorship
Ownr is unable to amend the information on a sole proprietorship registration once it has been issued. Contact the provincial business registry to update your sole proprietorship head office address.

Change the address of a corporation
Ownr cannot assist with changing the office for Quebec corporations.
Contact the Registraire des entreprises to amend the information of your corporation.
Follow the steps below to change your head office address on Ownr:
1. On the sidebar, select Organization > Company Info.
2. Under Contact Information, click Edit
3. The Edit Registered Head Office window will appear. Edit your registered head office address in the text boxes. Click Save Changes once you have updated the address.
Sign and submit
1. You will be prompted to review and/or sign the relevant document depending on your jurisdiction. Click Submit after you have reviewed and/or signed the document.
Click the eye icon to view the document before signing.
2. You and any other directors in the corporation will be asked to sign a resolution approving the change of address. All directors will automatically receive an email from Ownr with details on how to sign the resolution.
The Ownr account holder has the option to go to Dashboard to sign the resolution.
3. Once all directors have signed the resolution, the change will be automatically submitted to the government.
