If you have decided to no longer manage your company with Ownr, there is important protocol you should follow to keep your company compliant.
Overview
Ownr operates as an annual subscription service. Your plan covers basic legal compliance items that all corporations must adhere to including:
Company Minute Book
Annual Shareholders Resolution
Annual Directors Resolution
Annual Waiver of Auditor Resolution
In addition, Ownr customers get:
24/7 access to cloud storage
Before you get started
Find alternative methods to manage required legal compliance items such as filing your Annual Returns and updating your Minute Book once your Ownr subscription is cancelled.
Cancel your Ownr subscription
After you have downloaded your business information and documents, follow the steps below to cancel your Ownr subscription:
1. On the sidebar, click Account > Settings > Subscription. Click the Edit button.
2. The Change Subscription window will appear. Click the Cancel Plan button.
3. You will be required to select a reason for why you are cancelling your subscription. Adding more details in the text box is optional.
If you select Cancel, your subscription will remain active for the remainder of your subscription period, but will not be renewed on the expiration date.
You can reactivate your subscription at anytime by logging into Ownr and clicking the Reactivate tab.
Confirm the status and expiration date of your subscription
After cancelling your subscription, you can locate how many days you have left of your subscription and the date of expiry on the Subscription page.
Refund request
If you would like to request a refund for an unused subscription, please log in to your Ownr Account and use our chat support function to send us a message requesting a cancellation.
Further instructions will be provided to ensure your corporation remains legally compliant and successfully off-boards from Ownr.
After cancellation, you can view your Ownr Dashboard, download documents, and use other Ownr products like Blueprint and Ownr Insurance - but you cannot take action on your company, such as filing annual returns or making corporate changes. See The Ownr free tier article for further details.
